Patmos Baptist Mission of Haiti

There are currently 6 churches overseen by Patmos Baptist Mission of Haiti and leaders are being raised within their congregations (through the Bible Institute) to further multiply. The churches are:

• Patmos Baptist Church of Duvivier

• Patmos Baptist Church of Saut-D’eau

• Patmos Baptist Church of Orangers

• Patmos Baptist Church of Ladanthon

• Patmos Baptist Church of Fongandole

• Patmos Baptist Church of Grande Hatte

   

Because several of the churches are planted in the poorest, most rural areas of Haiti (where foreign aid hasn’t reached), there are members of the congregation suffering from starvation. Just as Jesus thought it was important to feed those who gathered to listen to Him preach, each of the churches serve their less fortunate church members through meal provision. Once construction is finished on the wall surrounding the property in Saut d’eau, we also intend to grow vegetables and fruit and raise chickens for food distribution.  

Two schools currently fall under the umbrella of Patmos Baptist Mission of Haiti: Guilgal Baptist College and Ecole Mixte Communautaire Talent de Foi. Together they serve around 150 students and provide employment for 10 Haitian teachers and two janitors. However, we are in the process of developing a third school, in the region known as Saut d’Eau and are continuing to search for sponsors for 100 children wishing to attend for the 2020-2021 school year.

The Bible Institute provides high quality biblical training for those who wish to pursue full-time ministry. So far, 11 men have graduated and gone on to start churches in their own communities.
